Mental Health Support

Therapeutic Learning Series – Small efforts add up to big improvements!

You’re Not Alone, We’re Here To Help

Our in-person mental health training delivered to organizations across Eastern Ontario and beyond is now also available as an adapted online support model for individuals. If you are feeling afraid of what you’re experiencing, feel at a loss as to how to get better, or are interested in building your mental health knowledge and skills to become a powerful advocate for yourself and your loved ones, this support resource was designed for you.

Join us online Tuesday mornings at 9:30am EST (or learn on your own timeline using our video archive) to build your mental health knowledge and skills with our expert facilitator, Lindsay Walton, so you can better understand what you are experiencing and what you can do about it. Knowledge is power and it’s a great feeling when you have less fear and more confidence navigating your mental health journey.

During these interactive 50-minute sessions, you are off-screen (come as you are) and have access to the facilitator through the chat. After each session, you are provided with links to view the recording and the syllabus record of your learning (your time here dedicated to self-care and growth counts as professional development hours which you can use to boost your resume, portfolio, or student application).

Mental health issues hold incredible opportunities for personal growth and major life breakthroughs. We’re here to help you make the most of this difficult time by transforming it into a time of insight, empowerment, and moving forward into the life you really want to live!

The sessions are ongoing with no end (lifelong learning! Join us for as much of your journey as you see fit), and you can join at any time (each session is individually valuable, and together they complement each other to compound your growth the more you attend). Featured in Extraordinary Facilitation by Dr. Jim Cain for her innovative expertise and program delivery skills, some of Lindsay’s contributions to the mental health realm include the adaptation of Jungian sandplay therapy for use with adults and groups (Diagram Debrief), and adaptation of first aid training for use as a therapeutic tool for participants recovering from a history of trauma or a history of violence.
