Created by Open Door Development, this course shows participants how to prevent injuries that can rob seniors of their ability to live independently and with a high quality of life. While a death certificate may show that an individual died from a heart attack or stroke, if you look at their history the senior often suffered an injury a few years earlier that forced them to reduce their level of activity which was keeping their body healthy and strong.

A walk through each room in the home reveals potential hazards and how to remove or reduce them. This course is geared towards those who are 60+ and those of any age who care about seeing senior family members and friends enjoy life to the fullest.
